Therapeutic Services for Children, Teens, and Adults

I am a therapist with over 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults overcome emotional challenges and lead fuller, more satisfying lives.

My work is largely informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am highly motivated to find the right combination of understanding, education, and skill work that helps each individual find ways to manage challenging emotions.

I hold a degree in psychology from the University of Maryland and a Master's in Marital and Family Therapy from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In California, I worked for a number of years for Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. Since moving to Virginia, I've served as counselor and psychological consultant to The Hill School for more than 20 years, and have had a private practice in Leesburg for the past 15 years.
